Sonoran Echoes is independently produced in an idyllic valley in the heart of the southwestern United States by Curry Basin Sounds. Initially conceived as specialty radio programming with the intent of commercial radio distribution, we quickly realized that commercial radio was unable, in today's radio climate, to rise to the task of presenting music in the fashion we required. Hence our decision to turn to the Internet for distribution. At Sonoran Echoes the focus is always the music! We allow no conflicts in programming choices. Curry Basin Sounds is an independent entity and proud of it. We are not affiliated with any record label, marketing group, media company, or artist-- nobody! We believe music belongs to all. Therefore we are committed to streaming our programs to you, free of charge! Forever! This, of course, requires other sources of financing. One of these is minimal in-program advertising. Always, however, we succeed in minimizing any flow-breaking impact our ads may cause. We place them between long sets of music and strictly limit time devoted to commercials.
